The wake and burial took place at the Heritage Park with nothing untoward incident happened except for the attention grabbing spineless monster mom " Anabelle Rama " berated and threatened (with a microphone stand, how violent can you get during a funeral wake!?!?!?) a Movie Reporter whom she mentioned wrote negative articles against here children just a few days before the burial of the Comedy King.
Well it only shows how unmindful she is to the solemnity of the wake, with "Heaven may care what happens next I'm on a warpath attitude".
Anyway as expected, thousands of People flocked to Heritage Park to pay their last respect to the Comedy King and to seeand take photo's of other movie and political personalities present during the wake & burial.

As I was driving on a rainy flooded street going to my High School Alma mater for a alumni event last night, I heard it on the radio, the passing away of the Philippine King of Comedy. Memory flashed into me as I vividly remember watching the TV sitcom John N Marsha during the 70's & 80's. Plus the countless comedy films & TV reruns being shown during those dark days of Martial Law.
Who would ever forget the famous line of John Puruntong's Monster este Mother-in-law Donya Delilah's "Kaya Ikaw John Magsumikap Ka!!!
It reflects the typical Pinoy Family during that era wherein humor is part & parcel of everyday life. As the saying goes "Laughter is the Best Medicine".
There are countless video's uploaded in Youtube one can enjoy viewing like this scene from the movie "Haw Haw De Karabaw" with his long time movie partner Panchito (RIP) & Minyong Villegas.
It was also worth noting that during the 90's he was asked to run for public office but he declined . (Credit goes to Al Roque's photo posted in Facebook).
RIP Comedy King of Philippine Cinema, as I quote his son Eric Quizon "Comedy is Dead, Long Live Comedy!"
