Raindrops (pati unan) keep falling on my boxhead

It's another Wet Rainy Tuesday, as I dread to wake up at half past 6am, rains have been falling since last night, thoughts of not going to work as I felt need more sleep as was playing too much boxhead flashgame in y8.com on my laptop till 12 midnight.

My wife was telling me to get up & help the kids dress up for school. Pinalo ako ng unan at sinabi " Hoy Gumising Ka na!!!" Sa madaling sabi gumising ako para ihanda ang mga anak sa pagpasok nila sa Paaralan. Maging aral sa magulang tulad ko, huwag pabayaan masabihan ng mga anak " Papa tanda tanda mo na nagpupuyat ka pa sa flashgames, ayan tanghali ka gumising tuloy."

Sabi ko sa kanila "sige sa office na lang ako maglalaro hehehe."

Lazy?!?!?! Saturday at the office (Crazy pala!)

Saturday again but as always need to report for work, since holiday kahapon JUne 12 (Happy Independence Day! Happy ba talaga tayo?! Nakipagkulitan sa mga kids ko lang kahapon at nakipag-agawan sa kanila sa paggamit ng laptop hehhehe) naunahan nanaman ako file ng vacation leave ng Secretary & 3 (kasama na yun janitor/maintenance) more people dito sa office.

Pagdating ko pa lang ng office at pagkatapos magtime in sa bundy clock diretso sa room ko, pagbukas ng pinto pa lang, ay sus nanaman hindi naglinis si Jani! Huhuhu sabi ko sa sarili "yari multi-tasking nanaman ako huhuhuh!" As in ako na-ulit maglinis at magtapon ng puno basura sa trashcan. Anyway tapos ang kalahati ng umaga ko kalilinis.

Pagdating ng 10am, tunugan naman ang telephones dito sa office, secretary naman ako ngayon hehehe. Puro yun mga absent ang hinahanap ng cliente, 3 telephone sunod-sunod nagring, lagot parang hindi alam kung sino uunahin ko sagutin, "pls. hold & your call will be answered in turn". Kala ko Lazy yun pala Crazy Saturday talaga!!! Buti na lang natapos ko yun tasked na yun. Anong sabado nights eh tulog na lang ako mamaya gabi hehehe. Ay salamat lunchbreak na at usual vegie meals for my health.

Pagdating ng hapon na medyo kakaunti na ang trabaho ko, isa lang naman edit ko Annunciator sa isang cliente na medyo makulit. Banda 2:30pm Dumaan yun isang barkada ko para mangulit lang at manginggit kasi kasama niya girlfriend niya may date daw sila, sa inis ko pabiro ko sinabi "Ay iba kasama mo ngayon na Chix, iba yun nakita ko kasama mo nung isang araw hehehehe". Lagot masamang biro yata nasabi at nag-away umalis yun mag-syota sa opisina ko, hehehe.
Nag-ring ulit ang telephone at may umorder ng DTR Cards, kung pwede daw ideliver today, sabi ko hindi available delivery man namin ngayon kasi naka-leave, sabi ba naman sa akin eh kung ikaw na lang magdeliver, napa Ehem ako at Sabi ko "Sir hindi po ako pwede magdeliver kasi kung aalis ako wala maiiwan dito sa office namin" hehehe. Sabay binagsakan ako ng telepono.

Makaraan ang ilan minuto meron dumating na walk-in costumer at naginquire ng produkto namin. Buti mabait at lahat ng hirap ko mag-demo sa kanya binayaran ng cash. Nagulat yun costumer at ako kumuha sa bodega ng item, ako nagdemo ako din ang nagtype ng sales invoice, Multi-tasking to the Max!!" "Ayos may commission na ako" Sambit ko sa sarili ko at wala yun salesman namin hehehehe. Ako nakabenta nito!"

Ay natapos din ang araw ko at pagtunog ng bell ng bundy clock at 5pm, nagtime out na ako at direcho uwi sa bahay.

With all the things that have been said & done. No To Con-ASS! Expect more clamor to stop CON-ASS in the following weeks to come. What better way to convey our disgust with the Image Message posted on the net. Enough Said!

1st Week of June Rains= Flooding (BAha na naman!!)

What started as early June Shower (end of summer here) turned into a nightmare for most of us specially the public school students. Imagine seeing school kids wading through the flooded streets of Metro Manila just to get to their respective schools & at the last minute being turned away by Teachers saying the Dep't. Ed. had abruptly announced No classes late in the morning. From Wed. to Thursday it was like this. Then came Friday they Cancelled on all level the classes but what a twist of fate the whole morning yesterday was somewhat sunny. Later in the afternoon was a different story.

By mid-afternoon came the heavy downpour, heard on the radio that snarling traffic everywhere, defective traffic lights, flooded streets. So by 5pm my Dad & I decided to leave the office here in Makati. As we drove away towards SouthSuper Highway I can see Mayapis ave. the water was already knee-deep & lots of stalled vehicles on its shoulder. I said to myself, good thing I don't have to contend driving through that river like street. Well as I was cruising towards south super highway, I noticed the large volume of vehicles inching their way towards Pasay Road, the scene was like a Huge Parking lot.

Aargh lagot!! Well it took us an hour just to pass thru Villamor Bridge, with everyone trying his best to outdo each other to get out of that bottleneck. Good thing I've decided not to enter the West Service road as I was what we saw shocked us was both lanes are occupied & at a standstill with no traffic aide in sight to untangle it. Lucky for us as we able to get out of the Merville Exit with ease. As I thought it will be a breeze going home, I was dead wrong! The small bridge going to Gate 1 was inundated by flood water & no vehicle dared to cross it. Well to make a long story short it took us another hour to have the flood water subside & cross the flooded streets inside the village. I was furious at my Dad as he was insisting that we cross the bridge as if I we were in a SUV.
